Women need their own professional networking organizations. There are plenty of fraternal organizations in the country, from the Fraternal Order of Police, to the Moose or Elk and the Freemason.
Since the focus of MWWN is women, we are really not a fraternal organization. Change includes adapting language. There’s a word for a network of women, so we are “sororal.”
